The 2026 World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS) London is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026. This event marks the long-awaited return of the world’s premier short-course triathlon series to the British capital after an 11-year absence, running alongside the London T100 Triathlon weekend.
📅 Race Schedule (July 25)
Both elite races take place on Saturday afternoon:
- Elite Women: 2:30 PM local time (BST)
- Elite Men: 4:15 PM local time (BST)
📍 Venue & Course Layout
The entire event is centered around the ExCeL Exhibition Centre in London’s Royal Docks, featuring a fast and technical Sprint Distance course:
- 750m Swim: A single lap in the Royal Victoria Dock starting from a ponton. Athletes will navigate a carpeted staircase leading out of the water and into the transition area.
- 20km Bike: A flat, 7-lap circuit. Due to the short lap distance, a special exemption is in place allowing lapped athletes to remain in the race.
- 5km Run: A 3-lap course culminating in a spectacular indoor finish line inside the ExCeL Centre.
