🏃♂️ Race Day Essentials
- Start Time: 8:30 am.
- Start Line: O’Connell Street (in the heart of Dublin City).
- Finish Line: Guild Street in the North East Inner-City.
- Course Description: A closed-road, 13.1-mile (21.1 KM) urban course that takes runners through the north side of the city.
- Number of Runners: Originally capped at 12,500, the field was later expanded to 13,200 runners.
💶 Entry & Ballot Process (Closed)
Unlike the first-come, first-served system of 2025 (which sold out in two hours), the 2026 event used a ballot system to ensure fairness.
- Ballot Entry Fee: €4 (plus a €1 booking fee). This fee was fully refunded to unsuccessful applicants.
- Full Entry Fee (if successful): €75 (covers the finisher’s t-shirt, medal, and postage of race numbers).
- Ballot Dates: The window opened on Friday, January 16, 2026, and closed at midnight on Thursday, January 22, 2026.
- Notification: Entrants were notified of their ballot outcome via email between January 28th and 29th.

- Pacers: Yes, designated pacers will be on the course (including times like 90 minutes and 2 hours).
- Transfers: If you secured a place but cannot run, there is a transfer window (April 2nd to April 8th) and a €10 transfer fee.
