With 5,500 metres of ascent, the INFERNO Triathlon is one of the toughest in the world and is counted among the classics. The incomparable nature experience in the unique mountain world of the Bernese Oberland and the family atmosphere make the INFERNO one of the most impressive competitions. Race cancellation Schilthorn mountain run Triathlon Singles
Due to a severe thunderstorm cell over the Schilthorn, the race from Mürren uphill must be cancelled immediately for safety reasons.
The athletes on the course will be escorted back to Birg, the Allmendhubelbahn and Mürren. Please follow the instructions and get to safety. The green clothing bags from Schilthorn will be transported to Mürren to the Alpine Sports Centre, where they will be ready for collection.
The races still in progress to Mürren will continue and are not affected!
