From July 18-19, 2025, Kaindorf near Hartberg will once again be all about cycling. With over 1,400 participants from all over Austria and neighboring countries, the Ultra Rad Challenge is one of the largest and most popular cycling events in Austria. The program includes cycling competitions for amateur and recreational athletes over 24, 12, 6 and 3 hours in individual and team categories.
The “supreme discipline” is the 24-hour competition. The 12-hour competition is also very popular. Those who don’t want to sit in the saddle for quite so long have the opportunity to pedal in the 6 and 3-hour races. This is a great opportunity for beginners and cycling marathon fans to enjoy the unique atmosphere along the 12-kilometre circuit.
Numerous spectators and cycling fans ensure a pure “goosebumps feeling” at the festive event on the Weixelberg, where the cyclists are cheered on loudly and spurred on to top performances. Presenters full of atmosphere, live bands, DJs and a varied supporting and show program guarantee unforgettable moments.
