The 2026 Tour of the Alps kicked off on Monday, April 20, 2026, with an explosive opening stage in Innsbruck.
In a major upset, the stage was won by Tommaso Dati from the Japanese continental team UKYO, who out-sprinted WorldTour stars to take the biggest victory of his career.
