The 6th Tour de Mátra marks a major milestone as it officially joins the UCI Gran Fondo World Series for the first time. The three-day international amateur cycling event features a mix of time trials and demanding mountain courses finishing at Hungary’s highest peak, Kékestető.

- Thursday, July 2 & Friday, July 3
- 15:00 – 20:00: Packet pickup open at the Sportközpont (next to MATE Károly Róbert Student Hotel) in Gyöngyös.
- Friday, July 3, 2026 – Time Trial (UCI Event)
- Distance: 19 km (Flat and fast course with five turns).
- Start Time: 10:00
- Location: Start and Finish at the Main Square (Fő tér), Gyöngyös.
- Awards Ceremony: Main Square, Gyöngyös.
- Saturday, July 4, 2026 – Mini Fondo (Non-UCI Event)
- Distance: 16 km (A localized road course with a mountain finish).
