The Velorace Dresden is the largest public cycling race in southeastern Germany. Since 2013, it has been held annually in August on the most beautiful cultural tour around Dresden’s Frauenkirche. The cycling race is the cycling highlight in the state capital of Dresden.
The approximately 20-kilometer (varies) circuit in the Elbe Valley passes the Zwinger and the Semperoper, the Rudolf Harbig Stadium, and the Glรคserne Manufaktur, crosses the Elbe via the Waldschlรถsschen Bridge, offers an incomparable view of three Elbe castles, and leads along the Brรผhlsche Terrasse to the finish line.
