Remco Evenepoel (Red Bull–BORA–hansgrohe) won the 2026 Donostia San Sebastián Klasikoa, claiming a historic fourth victory in the race and breaking the all-time win record.
Despite an ill-timed bike mechanical and having to make two major chase efforts, Evenepoel closed down a late attack by Richard Carapaz (EF Education–EasyPost) on the steep gradients of Murgil Tontorra before outsprinting the Ecuadorian in a head-to-head finish in San Sebastián. Ben Tulett (Team Visma | Lease a Bike) rounded out the podium, winning the sprint for 3rd place from the chasing group.
