The 2026 Copenhagen Sprint (1.UWT) is the second edition of Denmark’s elite one-day WorldTour race, specifically tailored for the world’s fastest sprinters.
The event takes place over the weekend of June 13–14, 2026, splitting the women’s and men’s elite races across the two days.

🗺️ The Route Profile
Both fields face a largely flat but highly technical route, starting at the historic Stændertorvet in Roskilde.
- The Open Roads (Zealand): The peloton winds through various municipalities (including Frederikssund, Hillerød, and Ballerup). Because the terrain is wide open and flat, crosswinds frequently threaten to tear the peloton apart before they even reach the capital.
- The Copenhagen Circuit: Upon entering Copenhagen via Vigerslev Allé, the riders hit a fast, technical 10-kilometer city circuit.
- The Finish Line: The dramatic final bunch sprint takes place right outside the National Gallery of Denmark (Statens Museum for Kunst) in the heart of Copenhagen.
