The Antwerp Port Epic / Sels Trophy 2026 takes place over the Pentecost holiday weekend in Belgium, presenting its trademark gritty mix of asphalt, demanding unpaved roads, and harsh cobblestone sectors cutting right through the port of Antwerp.
Here is the breakdown of the action across the women’s and men’s editions:
🏆 Antwerp Port Epic Ladies 2026 (1.Pro)
Date: Sunday, May 24, 2026 Distance: ~141 km (including 40 unpaved and cobbled sections)
Team SD Worx-Protime put on a masterclass in tactical dominance, completely locking down the podium after lighting up the race in the heavy gravel and crosswind sectors.
Femke Markus took a spectacular solo victory. Despite suffering an early crash while in a two-rider breakaway with Anneke Dijkstra, Markus remounted, caught the group, and later launched a definitive solo attack with 26 kilometers remaining. Buoyed by her teammates disrupting the chase behind, she was never caught.
