KARATE is in a thrilling development for enthusiasts worldwide. Zadar, Croatia will be hosting the 2024 EKF (European Karate Federation) Senior Karate Championships. The event is scheduled from May 8 to 12, 2024. The event promises to be a spectacular showcase of skill, determination, and sportsmanship.

The EKF Senior Karate Championships are a pinnacle in the world of karate, bringing together elite athletes from across Europe and beyond. Zadar, a city known for its rich history and picturesque landscapes, will set the stage for intense competition as participants vie for top honours in various categories.

The last edition of the EKF Senior Championships was held in Guadalajara (Spain). Over 500 athletes from 47 European countries participated in an event that had Germany topping the final medal table.

2024 EKF SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

“We are proud of our Luxembourg athletes who fought with honor at this prestigious event. Jenny Warling brilliantly took 7th place, once again demonstrating her talent and determination.
Sadly, despite fierce competition, Yanis Tamim did not have the opportunity of a repechage this time.
Many thanks to our President of the Luxembourg Karate Federation Fred Charlé and his Vice-President Misch Feidt, who were present in Zadar not only to support our athletes but also to take an active part in the major EKF congress. The congress was an opportunity to take stock of the year and discuss future events, including the forthcoming Cadet Junior and U21 World Championships in Venice in October.
