After several exchanges between French Football Federation president Philippe Diallo and FLF president Paul Philipp, the two federations were able to agree on a friendly match between the French team and the Rout Léiwen.
The match will take place on June 5, 2024 in Metz at the Stade Saint-Symphorien and will serve as a warm-up match for EURO 2024 for the French team, while for the Rout Léiwen it will be the first of two matches in four days against a team in the top 3 of the FIFA world rankings (France 2nd, Belgium 3rd).
Information on exact times and ticket sales will be announced as soon as possible.
Friendly international match against France in Metz confirmed
France – Luxembourg in Metz
It has been clear for some time that Luxembourg will play a friendly international match against European Championship participant Belgium in Brussels on June 8. Since Tuesday, it has also been officially confirmed that Laurent Jans and Co. will play a test match against runners-up France three days earlier.
This match will take place on June 5 in Metz, the exact time and ticket information for this match are not yet available.
TICKETS GO ON SALE FOR THE FRIENDLY MATCH AGAINST BELGIUM (08.06.2024)
Tickets for the match in Brussels have been available to order since Monday.
On April 15, 2024, tickets for the friendly match against Belgium on June 8, 2024 at the Stade Roi Baudouin go on sale.
Up to and including Monday May 6, 2024, supporters of the Luxembourg national team can contact tickets@football.lu and provide the number and category of tickets as well as the following information for any individual person:
New home shirt can be pre-ordered from Thursday
On Tuesday, the FLF also presented the new home kit for the men’s national team. Pre-orders for this can be placed from Thursday 16th at 12 noon.
The third jersey will be presented later today, while the second jersey will be unveiled on April 25, according to the federation.
