The Tour du Jura was born in 2006. Organized by the Jura Cyclisme Pays du Revermont club, it is an offshoot of the Tour du Revermont, which takes place in the Poligny, Arbois and Salins-les-Bains municipalities. The Tour du Revermont quickly evolved from a simple race into a local event, winning over partners, the public and elected representatives. That’s why, in 2006, with the support of the Conseil Départemental, the Tour du Jura Cycliste was created.
The aim is to offer a “Made in Jura” event that promotes the region in a sustainable way.
The Tour du Jura is also a chance to meet the Jura public, who celebrate the passage of the riders with passion all along the route.
