The Danilith Nokere Koerse women’s race is up for its 5th edition. On Wednesday 13 March, the elite women will storm the Nokereberg. On the way, they pass a lot of hills and cobbles. Will we get another solo? Or a mighty bunch sprint after all?
A big prize pool, a live broadcast and a tough course. With that, we hope to get the top teams in women’s cycling to the start in Deinze. The race gets underway at 10h30 and arrives a little after 14h on the famous cobbles of Nokereberg. The riders will have a renewed course in front of their wheels. And it will be spicy! In the finale, the women will ride the local lap full of cobbles twice, including the Lange Ast, the Huisepontweg and, new to the route: the repaved Doorn! In total, we ride 127 kilometres with a hefty 17 kilometres of cobblestones. There are also 10 climbs, 6 of them cobbled, and we cover a total of 808 altimeters.
