Traditionally, the Sparkassen Cross is a classification race for the German Cross Cup and a nomination criterion for the European Cross Championships. But it’s not just about the pros.
The “little ones” – our youngsters – are a matter close to our hearts. We want to offer children the opportunity not only to experience top-class sport up close, but also to be a part of it. That’s why the Pforzheim/Enzkreis School Cross Championships and the Calw School Cross Championships are held during the Sparkassen Cross.
Together with the FunCross, this is a well-rounded event that brings everyone together: young & old or professional & amateur runners. Simply a great experience to be in the middle of it instead of just being there.
