🇱🇺 Two Luxembourgers at the 2025 World Indoor Championships! 🇱🇺🔥

The FLA is proud to announce that Patrizia Van Der Weken (60m) and Charel Grethen (1500m) will represent Luxembourg at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing 🇨🇳 (March 21-23, 2025)!

🔹 Patrizia Van Der Weken will compete in the 60m on March 22. After her medal in Apeldoorn, she is coming in with big ambitions and currently holds the 4th-best time in the world this year 💨🔥.
📅 Race schedule:

Heats: 11:15 🇨🇳 | 4:15 🇱🇺
Semifinals: 20:15 🇨🇳 | 13:15 🇱🇺
Final: 21:18 🇨🇳 | 14:18 🇱🇺

🔹 Charel Grethen will compete in the 1500m. After a tough 2024 season due to medical issues, he’s back at the highest level in one of the most competitive events 🏃‍♂️💪.
📅 Race schedule:

Heats: March 21 at 19:20 🇨🇳 | 12:20 🇱🇺
Final: March 23 at 20:15 🇨🇳 | 13:15 🇱🇺

Two other athletes had also qualified but had to make a tough decision:

❌ Fanny Arendt will be competing at the NCAA Indoor Championships 2025, a key event for her collegiate career in the USA 🇺🇸. Competing in both events, along with travel and time zone changes, would have jeopardized her outdoor season.

❌ Victoria Rausch chose to cut her indoor season short to focus on recovery after her serious injury in May 2024. Her goal? To come back even stronger this summer 💪🔥.
