General Information
The Marathon course is fast, downhill, and scenic. Starting at Yonge and Sheppard in North York and finishing at Exhibition Place, the Marathon winds through many of the city’s great neighbourhoods. This Toronto favorite is one of the fastest courses you will find anywhere and is a great qualifier for the Boston Marathon. Many of our participants continue to post PR’s in this event!
Specifics
7:30 AM – START – Yonge St. and Sheppard Ave.
Marathon participants must be at least 18 years of age on race day. Walkers are not permitted in the Marathon. In-line skates, roller-skates, skateboards, bicycles, strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course. For the safety of all participants, iPods and similar audio devices are not recommended.
Participants have 6 hours to complete the event. You are required to reach the 26.5 km (Fleet St.) water station by 11:15 AM. Course closes at 1:30 PM.
