International Junior Race
The GP Général Patton is an international junior race which attracts some of the best junior riders from around the world and is a highly competitive event.
The race typically covers a distance of around 100 kilometers and features challenging terrain, making it a true test of a rider’s skills and endurance.
The 77th GP Général Patton will take place on June 29th 2024. The winner could become one of the big stars of cycling in just a few years: Remco Evenepoel (2018/Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team), Alexandr Vlasov (2014/Bora-hansgrohe) and Marc Hirschi (2015/UAE Team Emirates) once showed themselves to the Luxembourg public, and all three of them have since won some of the biggest races in the WorldTour.
For Luxembourg’s best juniors, the traditional GP General Patton could be a signpost of the direction their cycling careers could take them.
