3RIDES is the organizer of the German qualifying race for the Gran Fondo World Championship 2024. The race on Sunday, May 12 is the part UCI Gran Fondo World Series, which is now held for the first time in Germany. For the participants it goes from Aachen on a large and demanding loop over 110 – or 140 kilometers in the Eifel.
3RIDES is once again the host of the German qualifying race for the 2024 Gravel World Championship. The race on Sunday, May 12, 2024 is part of the TREK UCI Gravel World Series. Anyone who is interested can come along.
TREK UCI Gravel World Series
The concept of the gravel race series is that riders can earn a place in the annual TREK UCI Gravel World Championships (more info here). In each of the 25 qualifying races held worldwide, the fastest 25% of men and women in each age group are guaranteed a starting place at the UCI Gravel World Championships.
3RIDES Gran Fondo is a new race on the UCI Gran Fondo World Series calendar at the Aachener Chio complex, which hosts the World Equestrian Festival each year. The 3RIDES weekend features a big bike show, road bike rides, e-sports, music and plenty of side events. In 2023 there was for the first time a very successful UCI Gravel race with 1200 starters, also scheduled for 2024 on the same day.
Suzie Godart won today morning the 3RIDES Gran Fondo in Aachen (Germany)! She managed to win the competition 119,15km with 1904high meters in her age category (Woman 60-64) and got the qualification for the world’s Gran Fondo (even though she was qualified as world champion)!
