The Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon returns to the city August 17-18, 2024 – and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back!  2024 will be like not other year in Boston! Celebrate your season with this historical, scenic, fun and exciting Sprint & Olympic distance event and spectate a new professional race! As a participant in the triathlon, you’ll swim in the fresh waters of Dorchester Bay, bike through Boston city streets, and run along the scenic Southie shoreline.

Part of the famous Boston Triathlon weekend, the new supertri course promises not only a huge crowd in this iconic location, but a fresh set of tests for the world’s best athletes.

The event starts and finishes at DCR Carson Beach next to the historic McCormack Bath House, with the bike and run on a one mile loop along DCR Day Boulevard.

The pressure will be on from the moment the athletes first enter the water, particularly for the all-new Teams, who know they cannot afford anything other than going full gas from the start. The event forms part of supertri’s expansion in North America in 2024.
