Long distance

  • 05:00 – 06:30: Transition zone open
  • 06:20 – 06:30: Swim in
  • 06:45 am: Start individual
  • 06:55 am: Start relay
  • approx. 15:00 – 15:45: Finish 1st place
  • 21:55 hrs: Finish
  • 22:00: Fireworks
  • 22:30: End of bike check-out transition zone

The town of Nagold with the Kleb town park forms the central competition area for the event.

The people’s triathlon and the children’s competitions take place around the swimming center.

The Northern Black Forest Triathlon on the long distance is planned with a swim in the Nagold dam (2 × 1.9 km with shore leave), a quadruple bike lap between the towns of Altensteig – Oberer Wald and Nagold (approx. 2,200 m elevation gain), as well as the final marathon (6 times 7.032 km) in Nagold.

At the Northern Black Forest Triathlon 2024, we have the right challenge for everyone at our late registration on site! Whether you want to compete alone or as part of a team – here is an overview of our distances where you can also start as part of a relay team:

🚀 Long distance: the ultimate challenge for the endurance heroes among you! Swimming, cycling and running amidst the breathtaking nature of the Black Forest.

🚴‍♂️ NST 100 & NST 50: Individual time trials for real cycling fans – here you battle against the clock and yourself! Two course lengths for different performance levels.

🏊‍♂️ Aquabike: swimming and cycling without the final run – perfect for those who love the best of both disciplines!

🌟 Volkstriathlon: The ideal distance for beginners or those who want to experience a shorter but still exciting competition.

Of course, you can also complete each of these distances as part of a relay team – so grab your friends and form an unbeatable team! 💪
