From July 9 to 14, 2024, the Cottbus velodrome will host the European Track Cycling Championships for the second time since 2007. There will be 44 decisions in the U23 and U19 age groups.
The European Cycling Union (UEC) as the organizer and RSC Cottbus e.V. as the host are looking forward to six days of top-class sport on the 333.33-metre track at the Cottbus sports center. The event is expected to attract 425 athletes with their coaches and support staff from 30 nations. Eleven sets of medals will be awarded in each of the two age groups: in the sprint, keirin, time trial team sprint, single pursuit, team pursuit, omnium, points race, madison, scratch and elimination race – for both men and women.
