The route of challenge and solidarity…
On Saturday, July 06, 2024, our Master Tour 2024 is finally back!
Departing from the Hiehl (Jeunesse) soccer field in Esch, we’ll skirt the Belgian-Luxembourg border in the direction of Boulaide, via the Gaichel.
After a 20-minute refuelling stop in Boulaide (around 9.35 a.m.), we continue the Master Tour towards the Wemperhardt, where we leave the Belgian border in the direction of Marnach. After a 45-minute refuelling stop at around 12.35 p.m., we head down from the north of the country towards Echternach, where the 3rd refuelling stop takes place (at around 15.20 p.m.).
After a 20-minute break, we start the penultimate stage in the direction of Wasserbillig, then cross the Moselle region. At Remich, where we arrive at around 5.35 pm (last 20-minute refuelling point), we leave the German border, passing through the Franco-Luxembourg region (Mondorf-Les-Bains, Dudelange, Rumelange) to arrive at Esch/Alzette at around 7.40 pm.
After the effort comes the comfort, we’ll close the day with a barbecue and a cold drink in the presence of our friends and families.
With a distance of 315 km and 3200 metres of ascent, the Master Tour is without doubt the most ambitious cycle tour organized in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
