The TOUR Transalp is probably the best-known and most spectacular racing bike highlight for all cyclists in Europe. This fascinating crossing of the Alps is a stage race that is unique in its structure and organization. Years of experience, as well as a sophisticated organization and event structure make up the high quality of the event. From June 18 to 24, 2023, Europe’s most popular road bike stage race for everyone will finally start again. Hundreds of cycling enthusiasts will once again take on the adventure of crossing the Alps this week and ride 15,860 m and 608 km from Lake Reschen to Arco on their racing bikes (route information for 2023 to follow). Exciting new features and great highlights await. The new route is full of contrasts, surprising changes of scenery and impressive mountain landscapes. In seven stages, the 2023 route goes from Lienz in Austria to Arco in Italy. Etappen der TOUR Transalp 2024

ETAPPE 1 Lienz-Sillian

Die TOUR Transalp 2024 beginnt mit einem Sight-Seeing-Trip durch Osttirol. Die Etappe erobert erstmals in der Geschichte der Transalp eine der schönsten Straßen Tirols: Die Pustertaler Höhenstraße.

ETAPPE 2 Sillian-Moena

Eine Etappe für Bergliebhaber. Mehr Dolomiten-Gipfel kann man mit dem Rennrad an einem Tag nicht vors Auge bekommen. Ein epischer Stich mitten hinein ins Herz des Unesco-Weltnaturerbes.

ETAPPE 3 Moena-San Martino

Und wieder ein Tag in den Dolomiten zum Zunge schnalzen. Passo Fedaia, Passo Valles und Passo Rolle lassen keine Fragen aufkommen. Sportlich und landschaftlich spielt auch diese Etappe in der Ehrenkategorie.

ETAPPE 4 San Martino-San Zenone

Das ist die Königsetappe, die nichts für schwache Nerven ist. Erst darf man sich über amtliche Alpenpässe aus den Bergen herauswuchten und dann steht noch dieser fiese Monte Grappa im Weg.

ETAPPE 5 San Zenone-Lavarone

Jetzt geht es auf die Hochebene mit ganz anderen Eindrücken. Wiesen, Felder und Wälder bestimmen die Landschaft. Zum Ausruhen ist die Etappe aber nicht

ETAPPE 6 Lavarone-Kaltern

Von den Almen in die Weinreben: Der sechste Tag ist ein weiterer Tag voller Abwechslung, der es sportlich in sich hat. Höhenmeter und Kilometer sind nicht von schlechten Eltern und die Abfahrten erfordern eine gute Beherrschung des Lenkers.

ETAPPE 7 Kaltern-Riva del Garda

Kurz vorm Ziel der Transalp reckt sich die Brenta noch einmal über 3000 Meter hoch in den Himmel und schafft mit dem türkis leuchtenden Lago di Molveno zu ihren Füßen einen letzten Höhepunkt.
