The 2024/25 UEFA European Women’s Under-17 Championship round 1 draw set the groups in both leagues for the mini-tournaments to be held later this year.

Hosts will be appointed for each mini-tournament, to be played between 1 July and 3 December.

2024/25 Women’s U17 EURO round 1 draw: League A

Group A1: Portugal, Switzerland, Wales, Slovenia

Group A2: Belgium, Germany, Türkiye, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Group A3: England, Netherlands, Czechia, Faroe Islands (finals hosts)

Group A4: Poland, Scotland, Iceland, Northern Ireland

Group A5: France, Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria

Group A7: Norway, Finland, Greece, Belarus

2024/25 Women’s U17 EURO round 1 draw: League B

League A includes 28 teams, including defending champions Spain and the seven nations promoted from League B after round 2 of the 2023/24 edition this spring.

They have been drawn into seven groups; from these single-venue mini-tournaments, the teams finishing fourth will be relegated to League B for 2024/25 round 2, with the other positions deciding seeding for League A in that round. The Faroe Islands will take part even though their finals place is assured as hosts.

The 21 teams in League B (including the sides relegated from League A in 2023/24 round 2) will play for promotion to League A in six groups. The group winners and the best runners-up will be promoted.

League A round 2, drawn on 6 December and to be completed by 23 March, will decide the seven teams joining the Faroe Islands in the finals from 4 to 17 May.
