The history of the Flèche du Sud
The Flèche du Sud and the legendary Tour de France are closely linked. Yet few people know this. Many champions and talents took their first competitive pedal strokes in the city of Terres Rouges, before going on to take on a worldwide dimension in the microcosm of professional cycling.

The “Flèche du Sud” is a Luxembourg cycling race created in 1949 and has been part of the UCI Europe Tour since 2005, in category 2.2. It is therefore open to professional continental teams from Luxembourg, continental teams, national teams and regional or club teams.
