The classic cycling race on May 1st: Eschborn-Frankfurt.
Once started by the Henninger-Bräu (brewery) as a promotional event, the race has developed into an event that combines professional sport, amateur sport, youth sport and cycling for the whole family.
The organizer behind the race, the “Gesellschaft zur Förderung des Radsports mbH”, is also active in promoting young cyclists – and has been for 60 years. The fact that around 10,000 amateur cyclists take part in the Skoda Velotour also shows how popular the event is. The start is on May 01, at 07:00 am.
