IIHF ICE HOCKEY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Division III Group A in Biskek, Kyrgyzstan

From March 10 to 16, 2024, the Red Lions 🇱🇺 will take part in the IIHF ICE HOCKEY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Division III Group A in Biskek, Kyrgyzstan. 5 games in 6 days. 🇱🇺 It is an opportunity to meet opponents we have already met in Cape Town in 2023 (Turkmenistan, South Africa and Thailand), as well as Mexico, who will be relegated from the top division, and Kyrgyzstan, the host country, who will be promoted from the bottom division. 🇱🇺

Luxembourg 🇱🇺 loose to Thailand (6-1) in its final match at the IIHF WC DIIIA in Bishkek. The boys gave it their all but the going was a bit tough against those who were already assured of the gold medal. The Red Lions 🇱🇺 will therefore go home with a bronze medal in Luxembourg 🇱🇺 tomorrow and this is a fantastic result that augurs well for the future. Sasha Backes was MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the game and Philippe Lepage 🇱🇺 best player of the tournament for Luxembourg. 🇱🇺
