The last cyclocross of 2023 is on the calendar on Friday, December 29. The Azencross in Loenhout is a real classic that will provide a spectacle at the end. Last year, the trio of Tom Pidcock, Mathieu van der Poel and Wout van Aert provided one of the highlights of the season. In a nerve-wracking battle, it was Van Aert who won the Exact Cross Loenhout in a pushing sprint and sent the fans through the roof.

In the women’s race, Shirin van Aanrooij once again showed her top form one week after her victory in Mol at the Exact Cross Loenhout. She won the Azencross with a big lead over her rivals. Another full day of cross-country fun is in store for the 2023 edition. Starting at 10 am with a youth introduction, culminating in the afternoon with the two elite competitions and a long party in the public tent until 9 pm.
