The Provincial Recreation Domain De Schorre in Boom will be the setting on Saturday for the Schorrecross Boom, the fifth of eight heats in the Telenet Superprestige.
The Boom cyclocross is in its ninth edition and is now called Schorrecross Boom. This emphasizes the link with the provincial recreation area of the same name. De Schorre is a beautiful and unique location for a cyclocross. The former clay pit was a site of brickmaking until deep into the last century, but is now a vast, green oasis with many water features, height differences and surprising and artistic installations.
