With two exceptional godfathers Gianbattista Baronchelli and Claudio Chiappucci, both protagonists in their youth on the roads of the Giro della Valle (third place in the general classification for Baronchelli in 1972 and for Chiappucci in 1984), the 59th Giro Ciclistico Internazionale della Valle d’Aosta – Mont Blanc officially unveiled its routes. Five days of racing, all on Valle d’Aosta territory, 24 teams at the start and 12 nations represented for a stage race that, as tradition has it, puts the emphasis on big climbs.
On this occasion, the new jerseys made by Velo+ were also presented, which will distinguish the leaders of the various classifications in the race: the Yellow Jersey Eaux Valdotaines for the general classification, the White Jersey/ Blue with polka dots CVA for the mountain grand prix, the Blue Jersey Valle d’Aosta Region for the points classification, the Red Jersey/ White Jersey Conseil Départemental Haute Savoie for the sprint catch and the White Jersey Cervino Ski Paradise for the Under 20 riders.
It should be noted that, also for this edition, all the stages will be streamed live with an increased deployment of means and operators coordinated by the direction of Radio Proposta.
