The start of the 100-day countdown to the Courchevel Méribel 2023 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships (6 – 19 February 2023) was officially celebrated on Wednesday, 26 October 2022, at the Hôtel de la Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in Lyon (France).
The Courchevel Méribel 2023 Organising Committee, led by its President Bernard Front and Managing Director Perrine Pelen, in the presence of Laurent Wauquiez, President of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, Jean-Yves Pachod, Mayor of Courchevel, Thierry Monin, Mayor of Les Allues, Fabien Saguez, President of the French Ski Federation (FFS), Tessa Worley, giant slalom world champion, Johan Clarey, downhill Olympic silver medalist, Marie Bochet, alpine paralympic champion and Antoine Dénériaz, downhill Olympic champion, brought together ski enthusiasts and those involved in the ski industry.
Held just over three months before the opening ceremony, this convivial event launched the start of the countdown to the Championships.
The Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility Strategy including the transport plan for Courchevel Méribel 2023 were presented.
